Capoeira Team Luxembourg is an association rooted in Luxembourg's cultural, sports, and social landscape, active in Luxembourg City and in the south of the country.
Founded in 2000 and affiliated with the Luxembourg Martial Arts Federation since 2015, the association promotes the art of capoeira and Brazilian culture through sports, cultural, and social activities.
Our goal is to transmit capoeira in a serious and accessible setting, while strengthening social cohesion through practice, music, encounters, and performances.
Over the years, the association's work has expanded into Luxembourg schools, with introductions and classes integrated into some physical education programs.
Capoeira Team Luxembourg contributes to the training of category C capoeira coaches at ENEPS. Launched in 2018, this theoretical and practical training marked an important step for the professionalization of capoeira in Luxembourg.
The classes in this training are led by Mestre Pelezinho and Mestre Sabia, offering experienced capoeiristas a recognized framework for coaching adults and children safely.
